Oh, The Mourning – S.A. Quinox

My every fiber mourns you.
Echoes dance
in the forsaken corners of my mouth.
Light of the moon peeks
through my open window.
And I sit here, idled by the numbing
of a night that comes and goes,
calmly biding its time.
Hours grow slimmer each day.
Only to be taken abruptly by the gods.
Lest we not forget so easily.
Your name echoes forevermore
between my heartstrings
and bleeding lips.

S.A. Quinox is a young Belgian poet, philosopher and a student of the paranormal. She writes for the broken among us. Quinox is a beginning yet growing poet that is known for her beautifully deep yet melancholic words which have the ability to wreck your heart and then glue it back together again. At a young age, she had already discovered her love for writing. What first started off as suicide notes later on transformed into the poetry she writes today. Quinox has a unique way of designing her own books. She always chooses black pages to preview her style. By doing so, she makes her readers delve deeper into the abyss of her words.
